Brett Cloe, Alissa Hitchcock, and Zach Gerber (from left to right)
We are excited to announce the continuation of our annual summer internship program, which is a great opportunity for us to expand our team and work with some of the sharpest college students around the country.
Zach Gerber is from Aurora, Ohio and will begin his senior year this fall at John Carroll University. He is pursuing a double major – a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Finance and Wealth Management. Zach is also a member of John Carroll’s Track and Field program and competes primarily in the 110m hurdles. Since high school, he has been drawn to planning and the power of compounding interest. Zach is fascinated by the wealth management industry and all it encompasses. He plans to sit for the CFP upon graduation. In his free time, Zach enjoys playing the guitar, and spending time with friends and family outdoors.
Brett Cloe is from Wadsworth, Illinois, and will be entering his senior year at John Carroll University. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Finance, and a Bachelor’s in Economics. Brett wants to become a financial planner and plans to get his CFP license soon after he graduates in May 2022. This has been a long-time career goal since speaking with his uncle, who is a financial planner, about the industry. Brett is a former member of the John Carroll Men’s soccer team, and enjoys MMA, golfing, CrossFit, and biking.
Alissa Hitchcock is from Hudson, Ohio and attends Ohio University where she will be a senior in Fall 2021. Alissa is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Marketing. She is currently working towards her CFP license and plans to sit for the exam as soon she graduates in May 2022. Alissa’s passion for financial planning developed when she started saving for retirement before her freshman year of high school. She loves to help others, learn as much as possible about the finance industry, and communicate with everyone. When Alissa isn’t interning at NCA, she loves to walk outside with her dogs and travel. Her goal is to become a financial planner and help anyone she can.
We know that NCA’s team of industry leaders must continue to evolve and grow, or it won’t be leading for long. To continue to be at the top of our industry, we need to train our replacements. We see it as our job to cultivate the next generation of talent so that our clients enjoy uninterrupted support and fulfilling relationships for decades to come.
